It Feels Like A Action Movie With Some Season 5 And Classic Throwbacks.
I Recommend It For Kids And Fans

When my 3 year old Grandson watched this film he burst into tears when Fireman Sam was told that he couldn't be a fireman anymore. He was upset for the rest of the film. This is not a film for adults, its for toddlers and the makers should realise the affect that it has.
My Grandson loves Fireman Sam and would watch it all day but even after the film finished and Sam was re-instated it still left him unsure whether he would see Sam again. No matter how much we tried to explain that Sam would be ok, we couldn't placate him
Out of all Fireman Sam movies ,this one got the most action. There is always something happening , it is pretty much completely chaotic but at the same time it is a lot of fun. The movie is cleary trying to be dumb and funny. I mean just look at Flex Dexter ,he plays the villain and looks like someone who had 10 cosmetic surgerys. The plot is very interesting and makes a lot of fun ,which is extraordinary for a fireman sam movie. But like the other movies ,this movie looks awful. Everything looks bad ,the landscape are just boring grass areas and the characters look lifeless and scary. Sometimes the characters just don't move at all and stand still.
But overall this movie is perfect for children ,maybe not for small children who would be overwhelmed by the action. Great action movie for kids!

I recently watched *Fireman Sam: Set For Action* (2018) with my brother, and I have to say, it was pretty disappointing. I was hoping for something fun and engaging, but it really fell flat for us.
The animation looked a bit outdated, which made it hard to really get into the story. Plus, the plot felt repetitive and, frankly, a bit dull. My kids lost interest halfway through, and I can't really blame them. The characters didn't seem to develop or have any memorable moments, which is a shame since I know how much they loved the show before.
On the positive side, it has some funny camera angles, but it just doesn't pack the excitement I expected. Overall, I give it a 2 out of 10. If you're looking for a good time with Fireman Sam, you might want to skip this one.

I understand why they have done what they have done but when you have granddaughters who live watching the show suddenly burst into tears because there hero character, (yes even at 3&5 years old) is not going to be a fireman anymore. I then have to spend ages trying to tell them that it's just a film and he will be a fireman again then I think you need to look at the wider picture there are probably thousands of people had the same problem. Yes I understand why it was made that way but come on its a small children's animated program. They don't understand sabotage and I don't really want to be explaining it to a 3yr old
