I have grown up watching Blue's Clues, and I still watch it, despite being an adult. When I heard that they were rebooting the series, I approved of it because the original was one of those preschool shows that did not annoy you so much. After watching a few episodes of the reboot, I was impressed to see the notebook being an actual notebook and smartphone combined, Josh is a great host, they sometimes read the emails and letters, and the twists they put into the remakes of the classic Blue's Clues episodes. Basically, this show is just what this generation needs right now. The original series borrowed some key ideas from Mr Rogers's neighborhood. Actually, Fred Rogers appreciated what Blue's Clues was teaching younger viewers during the late 90s. I am proud to say that this reboot of Blue's Clues has maintain the core values of the original series and Fred Rogers' ideals when it comes to educating the new generation today.
Blue's Clues is a childhood classic for many people in my generation. I never did watch it much as a young child, but it's always held a special place in my heart. Just from the trailer I can tell that Josh has all the old charisma and happy energy that Steve and Joe had. Not to mention, Josh was HANDPICKED by Steve, so I don't see why people are complaining about him when he literally has the approval of the original host. And from the reviews apparently they just reuse the old plot episodes, but in my opinion that's not really an issue, at least they're not making episodes with references to controversial topics, which is saying a lot considering the content of some children's shows these days. Overall, I don't see an issue with this reboot, as it's it's a good reboot, and reboots are usually GARBAGE (looking at YOU, Thomas & Friends All Engines Go).
I feel like I'm reliving my childhood! Thank you Nickelodeon for bringing this show back
I grew up with the original Blue's Clues and I am happy that the newer generations can experience this good wholesome show that's fun!
I watched a couple of episodes just to get more of a sense of nostalgia and it was actually pretty funny and cute! Children would love this reboot and I would recommend it to anyone who has children.
I also liked the Easter eggs of Steve and Joe in the first episode
The only thing I wish is that they would have showed the first episodes of Blue's Clues with Steve and Joe earlier so children new to Blue's Clues in general get a better sense of who they are.

I am old enough to have watched the first series with Steve when I was younger. I now have kids of my own, and we love watching Blues Clues and You (5 and 6mo). Only annoying thing is that the songs get stuck in my head!
For the review that said "blue doesn't look realistic" - I want to point out that neither did the original, mainly due to it BEING GOD DAMN BLUE!
For the butthurt crying about modernisation (phones and emails) as well as Drag Queens - get a grip you archaic, narrow minded embarrassments. Kids TV should expose them to the world around them, but if you would prefer them staying closeted and for them to grow up to be as odious and out of touch as you, then just get them to consume Alex Ross or Breitbart from birth.
