It involves mystery, comedy, emotions, revenge, family love, a complete package.
It's not just for teens, in my opinion, adults would like it too.
My favorite episode is 15th episode. Whole perception changes upside down after that episode.
I've not seen such will planned series for a long time.
One thing I just wanna mark that they should have closed all the matters if they didn't wanted to have another season. They left one mystery open which I didn't like.
Overall I loved it.

I've watched few episodes, because Melissa is there. She nailed it but the other side of this show is so bad. The Nick character Im not sure if its the actress but it is so bad played, so bad. I feel faked haha
one review here was right, if you have nothing else to watch or you just need some back up to ironing etc its good...
A tween focused sit-com.
Has its moments where you think the writers have just nailed it, then other moments where you know they are writing for an audience who doesn't know any better, and they treat the audience as imbeciles. For example, accessing other people's personal information from government agencies, by simply 'sending away' for the files. In real life, there would be almost no way to access that kind of information. There were times where it just was not based in reality.
But it is unique compared to most tween shows, and season 2 especially shows how some relationships can be complicated. The acting does a decent job, but don't expect too much laughs. The comedy is laugh-track induced, very basic situational humor, most of what could have been written by anyone's dad. But sometimes, just sometimes, it hits the mark.
This is basically a Nickelodeon show featuring ex-Nick stars in Nick situations and scripting. Sean Astin, Melissa Joan Hart, and Ted McGinley are wonderful, but the rest of the cast is borderline. Honestly, the idea of the show is wonderful and would've made a great 2-hour film or more 'adult' series - but in this setting, it's hard to take it serious with all of the teen jokes and Nick-typical acting overshadowing the main plots. One standout is the son, Kalama Epstein, whose acting is superior to the rest of the teens. I will keep watching to see if it grows further, but it needs to improve greatly to match up to the adult stars.
I'm enjoying it so far I like the cast. I came across it on Netflix and decided to click play. Just give it a chance
