I love impractical jokers and saw they had a new game show so I had to record it. So far it's interesting of course you got impractical jokers on here so it makes it more fun to watch but Other people might have mix reviews about this and have to understand the concept of the game.
The only thing that ruins the show is the results. The numbers in the misery index are determined by "shrinks" who apparently can't even type the word shrink, because the pontuation makes absolutely zero sense and therefor, making it impossible to win the rounds with your brain and having to count only on pure luck.
Example: "a woman is sent to the hospital after putting pop tarts in her vagina and having problems" This was rated 40. Then "woman go to surgery to remove her bladder and then found the removed bladder in her bag with her clothes" A funny, harmless, painless story, but the moron shrinks rated as 64!!!!!! LOL

The premise is interesting to me... the rating of misery on a scale.
a plus is jameela, i love her since the good place. impractical jokers are ok but it's not something i'd rate higher than a 6?7? - actually, come to think of it.. challenging someone to make an idiot of himself & prank others never made me die of laughter..?
so anyway.. back to the misery index.. given the increase in negative emotions, depression ... this rating system makes me smirk and definitely puts some s*** into perspective for me. (my second day of migraine, the weather makes you suicidal here, and i feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel... & that the tunnel is in fact a neverending spiral.. -
but hey at least i have all my toes and fingers, wasn't attacked by a swarm of bees, didn't lose my tongue & won't have an accident in an elevator today.
if you need something light ..give it a try

I love the show. The jokers are hilarious as usual and I enjoy the concept of the game. But the host is almost unbearable! She has no chemistry with the jokers or anyone else she interacts with and she just doesn't seem genuine. She kinda has a snobby attitude and demeanor about her. She doesn't feel relatable to the audience. I would give it a 10/10 if it weren't for the host. Hopefully they'll replace her in the future.
The show is enjoyable and amusing. However, the format could use some work. It seems less than fair that the person who gets the last answer right can win. How about a fast head to head misery playoff?
The host is phenomenal. She challenges the Tenderloins without trying to be one. It takes someone on their toes - and on their game - to keep up with those guys. I find her impressive. The guys are amusing as always.

- TriviaThe term "Misery Index" was coined by Ronald Reagan when he ran for President against Jimmy Carter in 1980. To emphasize the economic problems during the Carter Administration, he combined the double-digit rate of inflation with the double-digit interest rates to create what he called Carter's misery index. At that time the number was over 25% as compared to the more recent rate of under 3%.
