It was one of those night where I was looking to what to watch with my kids, 11 and 7 yrs old, so I gave this a shot. Now, on my flim snob eyes, it's nothing to brag about ...all the holes and cliche , yes there are many, but if I can put my mind into my younger years, I think it's a good one to watch, it has a mix of that twilight zone's Mysteries nd a touch of horror, in fact ir gave me a pretty cool ride. we watch 5 episodes straight. I really like looking at the kids watching it withn suspense. As a horror fan myself, This is another chance for them to appreciate the genre....So, again , putting myself in their eyes, i give it 6 /10
If you can be ok with the fact that actress Lisa Ambalavanar looks like a 30+ year old playing 16, you might be able to get into the show. The side characters are played very well and the story line is decent and pulls you along through each episode. The villain, Amber, is spooky and creepy for sure. It does run a bit slow at times but once you have invested in it it's impossible to just not keep going. I found this a fairly good show.
I can see all the hate in season 1. The story was odd and slow burn with some just plain bad first episodes with a teen drama feel. Acting was just ok to be honest but season 2 was very good and make this overall show pretty good.
Plot conveniences, terrible characters, poor plot structuring. Plot becomes predictable after the third episode with very little to be found afterwards. Not much going for it. Still better than being scared of the rain.
I really wanted to enjoy this lol but it was so bad so so bad lol the acting is terrible and yes it it's very childish and not in a good way lol I do enjoy teen stuff it's a guilty pleasure but this just was not it lol
