I never saw the last episode ending like it did, season 3 episode 10. I thought the writers where going to leave a cliffhanger. I need to go back and rewatch seasons one and two. I agree with another reviewer the actor who played Ben not only deserves an Emmy, but he deserves an Oscar, and a Golden Globe. I remember his character on the television series "Banshee". The actor who plays Ruth (Julia Garner) has become my favorite actor. The whole cast is Outstanding. I hope there will be a season four, if not this was a season shocker ending, which is fine with me.
Season 3 is one of the best of any TV show I've seen, and 100x better than the previous two seasons. I hated the fact I had to wait two years for season 3, but it was worth it for this type of outstanding and near perfect writing, especially these last two episodes. The writers have their work cut out for them in season 4 to top season 3. They need to be nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes. Wow is all I can say for the season finale.
This show never fails when it comes to a season finale. What an ending!! Everything about this season was so good, especially the acting. Tom Pelphrey deserves an emmy for his role and so does Laura Linney. I just can't wait for the new season. Oh and Marty Byrde is still a freaking g.
This show masterfully toys with your emotions, but in a great way. After watching tv pretty much my entire life, I've felt that I can easily predict what is going to happen, but I cannot stress how happy I am that ozark constantly proves me wrong. The character Ben, as I have read in many other reviews, is so well portrayed Tom Pelphrey that is would be astounded if wasn't at least nominated for an Emmy, with his taxi meltdown it's impossible to not feel immense sympathy for the character, but also realistically present mental illness to a level that I can only compare to the ability of Joaquin Phoenix in joker. Then my final note is that Jason Bateman, playing Marty my favourite character in the show, again amazes me with his performance, it's a sin he hasn't won his nominations, proving that he has a acting range allowing him to do serious drama and comedy. I hope that they return for a season 4.
