I concur with the other two reviews, and also found this movie difficult to follow because of the (should be) background music. Plus the background noise in the public scenes was also too overwhelming. One would think, that there would be someone in place to watch all the movies before they are aired, to save our ears from this mess.
I found the sour-faced daughter in this so obnoxious. Someone should have slapped her hard across the mouth for her disrespect towards her mother who just married her stepfather. I found her, if I were the parents to kick her out of the house or put her in a reform school. Poking her stuck up nose into everybody's business. The long straight hair down to her wazoo made her look even more droopy. And the over-the-hill make=up for a teeny bopper.
Bad look, bad actress, so-so story line, has been done to death and better by other authors and directors and cast. Phew.
The constant awful music throughout makes it very difficult to hear the dialogue & ruins any enjoyment of it.
It's hard to believe that someone got payed for this terrible noise.

The other reviewers here complained about the audio being too loud and drowning out the dialog. I'm thinking it's a blessing in disguise. So the questions I have are:
Who writes this drek?
How could Mom be so darn stupid?
How is it that the daughter, who is so unlikable, have any friends at all, let alone evoke any sympathy from viewers?
Why isn't everyone involved with this claptrap of a movie behind bars?
I read the other review about background noise. I am actually watching, or trying to watch it while on the computer. The noise as with many of these shows, although, some are not quite as bad, is horrible. It is throughout the whole movie. Unbelievable. Normally, I am not doing anything while watching a new show, but I can't enjoy the movie because of all the background music, thumping, etc. whatever you want to call it. They are putting this horrid sound on so many things. They don't care, because people have been complaining for a couple of years now. Investigative ID is really terrible. I have tried going into audio setup, taking it off of TV speakers, and what not. Nothing works. Putting captions on. If you can read them fast enough before the next sentence is said. Then when a commercial comes on, the noise is even louder. Then I turn to a commercial free station. It wasn't always like this. I know they can take it off of the show. Well, I know I will never look at this one again. Not enjoyable.
