This is another recycled story line with a woman hiding the big secret that she isn't who everyone thinks she is. She is doing it in the same building where she is a security guard, so there are a lot of near-miss situations. Of course, everyone knows she's eventually going to get caught. Throw in a very jealous co-worker to complicate things.
Lacey is a big-hearted woman who happens to have an unrealized and hidden talent for advertising, but she works two minimum wage jobs to make ends meet and they don't quite meet. I never really liked Greg enough as Lacey's opposite. He's not really bad, but he's in over his head and very inconsiderate of those he manages. Kate Mansi and Matthew Lawrence don't really have enough screen time, at least not outside the job, so I can't compliment the chemistry.
The story pretty much follows the expected formula. There are a few funny near-miss encounters but the head security guy is overly silly. And yes, the sets aren't impressive.

I love this was just added to PureFlix. What a sweet premise of mistaken identity.
Don't waste your time with this B-Movie nonsense filled with washed up Z list actresses like Samarie Armstrong. Trash
Don't waste your time or money on this one. Cheesy story, unrealistic sets, and a weak script. The lead actress was good, otherwise this movie bites.
Cute little movie but I'm a little tired of these Anne Hathaway want to be's we already have one anne Hathaway please try and develop your own style and stop trying to copy anne Hathaway. Kate Mansi doesn't seem to have her own style she seems to be duplicating and Hathaway's voice gestures, and mannerisms and expressions and at times even her voice I don't think Anne Hathaway would like it either so I give this movie three stars because there are worse movies but they should have named the movie shenanigans and how can she get a paycheck when she's using a fake name..... Kate Nancy's not very attractive. Also it bothers me that her jewelry store boss is her best friend and she throws away a $2,000 or whatever the ring cost sale to run out of the room and leave the guy by himself in the jewelry store? What kind of friend does that? Somebody with absolutely no common sense?
