Ten years ago this would have made the perfect family film dreamworks or Nickelodeon animation studios would have made big. Today, you're gonna likely miss it because of all the bigger budgeted and heavily advertised other films out there.
The story is a pretty solid one and funny too. The music is good with some new music and an old school vibe to it all. Martin Lawrence is hilarious and for those gen X folks like myself, there's some throwback to the show brands we grew up with.
This is a family movie that I put up there with Toy Story because it was nice to get a fresh perspective on a story Disney and Nickelodeon has told pretty much in everything.

Story reminds me of Toy Story. I enjoyed it. Well animated. I really liked it. There is a good voice cast with some Hollywood stars. It's strange watching sneakers talk, but that did not spoil my viewing . The plot is
Sneaks follows the adventures of Ty, a misguided designer sneaker who does not know life outside the comforts of his velvet-lined shoe box. After his sister is stolen by a shady collector, Ty must venture into New York City to find and rescue her. In his adventure, Ty meets a rag-tag group of footwear friends from all walks of life who help him find the courage to step outside of his shoe box and find his "sole-mate."
This film was so bad, it was a fun and unique concept. Some people will enjoy the wariness of it, and love how strange the shoes are. Now, It's not a glazing 10, but to be honest you know what you expect, some fun, some charm, but that's it. And for what it was, it was a slice of light entertainment that'll tick over.
The story evolves around are main character trying to find a strategic way to improve Basketball, the colours and the effects are done well, and the story is trying to Balance a villain and some much needed action, but the blend of fitting in and humour works nicely, not too bad, but it's fun for being silly and not trying to be super serious. But the emotional depth isn't too bad, and trying to fit in and trying to improve is a great learning journey for our main actor, played by Pearl Mackey, so it's fairly good.

Sporting an all-star voice cast from all corners of the world, Sneaks is the animted tale of not just the secret lives of shoes, but also the humans who they support.
The story centers around the key question we often ask ourselves: is life better served playing it safe or throwing caution to the wind? If you step out of your box, you're more likely to experience the highs of life but often at the costs of a few scuffs. And ultimately scuffs in life are okay, even can be seen as a "badge of honor" by some.
Overall this is a fun little movie for the family. The animation is solid, the jokes are witty, and the message is strong.

Both my son and daughter liked this movie, which is rare in our household. Some cute adult humor as well which made it nice for the whole family. It's a little slow at times, but had a nice message about brothers and sisters looking out for each-other and a nice moral in the end. There aren't many family-friendly movies out there. I definitely recommend if your kids are into sneaker culture (and even if they aren't!) not sure why this has so many low ratings. Is it going to make your list of favorite movie of all time, maybe not but def recommend for a family trip to the cinema. Also great music and fun for basketball players with Chris Paul.
