This review is overdue because to write it meant I finally had to say goodbye to the JESSICA JONES created under the Netflix's banner. I have really enjoyed this series. The writing has been sharp, self-depreciating and grimly humorous, like it's protagonist. Krysten Ritter has brilliantly inhabited this character. This third season was more about what heroism is (or does) than it is about a fight against villainy. As is always true with the series, the struggle is real and the lines hard to define. Even though this season had a slow start (it must have been hard to reset after Killgrave) all the avenues were explored. Great writing, great plot, characters in whom you can invest, a bitter-sweet finale to a series I truly enjoyed. I give this season a 9 (superb) out of 10. {Superheroine}
Jessica jones has been always one of my favorite MCU shows/movies ever, this season served a perfect story with deep lovely performances by the actors. the ending is open-ended but it was obvious that there was plans for a fourth season. but overall its an acceptable ending for such a mystery show. you'll be missed jessica <3
I won't say much. Knowing it's the end there were some truly good confrontations and Jessica finally had to deal with Trish. But there are other pairings, as well as other nasties getting theirs. I did enjoy the series although this third season really dragged along.
The best decision the writers for this final season was to finally stop holding Jessica back and let her heroic qualities, which are definitely there, come to the forefront more. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed the conflicting motivations between Jess and Trish this season. Krysten Ritter and Rachael Taylor put in very powerful performances and while the manner in which the relationship ended may disappoint some fans, I found it made sense with the way their characters had been heading in the last couple of seasons.
This series was never going to appeal to all superhero fans given how every character is broken in one way or another and have a lot of negative qualities. Because of this, this is far from a traditional superhero series that resolves with a 'good vs bad fistfight' , but I enjoyed this series as a whole and it will always have a special place in the comic book genre

Jessica Jones has always been a great character driven show with intriguing characters and character driven stories. I don't want to go in to spoilers but all the characters get fitting ends for what they've become by the end of the show. Each character gets an end that fits their story but the ending feels unsatisfying and a tiny bit rushed. Of course not all endings are supposed to be satisfying and it did not seem to be the intention of this show to leave a satisfying end for all of the characters. However it was a strong end to a very strong season, I just feel like there could have been more closure. If the show is picked up later on by Hulu or some other streaming service with the rest of the Marvel Netflix originals then I believe we can see a better end as well as many more intriguing and solid stories to follow.
