The question is, is it really the end?
With a open ending like that, it's leaving questions, could there be a 4th series hidden somewhere.
Their have been series that ended and came back. Jessica Jones could be one of them if they go to the Disney Network, two years Clause by Netflix is not long. They just have to make a new promo series and sell it to the next work.

Jessica Jones has always been a great character driven show with intriguing characters and character driven stories. I don't want to go in to spoilers but all the characters get fitting ends for what they've become by the end of the show. Each character gets an end that fits their story but the ending feels unsatisfying and a tiny bit rushed. Of course not all endings are supposed to be satisfying and it did not seem to be the intention of this show to leave a satisfying end for all of the characters. However it was a strong end to a very strong season, I just feel like there could have been more closure. If the show is picked up later on by Hulu or some other streaming service with the rest of the Marvel Netflix originals then I believe we can see a better end as well as many more intriguing and solid stories to follow.

I cried when the camera moved away from Jessica in the end, it was like a part of me was going away. I love the show and the character with all my heart, she means so much to me. This season was phenomenal, amazing storyline,acting and character development. Krysten Ritter was born to play Jessica. I just want her back!!
I'll be sorry to see no more of Marvel anti-hero Jessica Jones with the announcement last year of its cancellation but did think this third and final series could was the weakest of the three.
I've not read any of the comics so wasn't aware that Trish would morph into a would-be super-hero (Hellcat, I believe is her moniker) with powers of her own) and too much of the early episodes focused on her coming to terms with this and then trying to convince Jessica to see her in that light. Then later on a handsome hunk rolls into Jessica's life, with wouldn't you know it, his own power to empathetically sense evil within people, except when he's apparently drunk or having sex, both of which engages in quite a lot here.
Anyway the three of them find themselves on the trail of a manipulative serial-killer who seems able to outwit his pursuers at almost every turn. This is the main story-arc and features one shocking murder which will jolt the viewer upright but otherwise you kind of think Jessica and her buddies should have wrapped this case up long before the baddie causes the collateral damage he does.
The main side-plot concerns the terminally ill Jeri Hogarth, who strives to rekindle a passionate love affair she had at college with a classical musician. There are some steamy scenes between them before again a shocking death, indirectly caused by Hogarth's self-serving actions changes that dynamic too. Some coincidences and plot leaps however I found too hard to swallow, prominent amongst them being Hogarth's decision to take on the defence of the serial killer, ostensibly to give her now ailing practice high-profile publicity.
Like I said at the start, I found that a number of the episodes seemed overlong and could have been edited by ten minutes at least. Two of them however did stand out, the one where Jess uncovered the first murder by the evil Salinger and the second the afore-mentioned episode where a member of Jess's extended family meets a terrible end.
Otherwise, despite Krysten Ritter doing a fine job leading the cast through another 13-episode series, I'm afraid I could see the rot setting in. I'm still sad the series is no more but it did seem like the law of diminishing returns was starting to apply.

This review is overdue because to write it meant I finally had to say goodbye to the JESSICA JONES created under the Netflix's banner. I have really enjoyed this series. The writing has been sharp, self-depreciating and grimly humorous, like it's protagonist. Krysten Ritter has brilliantly inhabited this character. This third season was more about what heroism is (or does) than it is about a fight against villainy. As is always true with the series, the struggle is real and the lines hard to define. Even though this season had a slow start (it must have been hard to reset after Killgrave) all the avenues were explored. Great writing, great plot, characters in whom you can invest, a bitter-sweet finale to a series I truly enjoyed. I give this season a 9 (superb) out of 10. {Superheroine}
