I have to say that with all of the beautiful imagery that Voltron has done, the scene with Allura and Lance kissing had very weird animation. It's something that was pretty clearly added on and it detracts from the episode as a whole. There was no reason to care about the Altean who died, either.

This series is amazing, and this last season is delivering all the emotional closure for every character. What fans don't seem to understand is that all characters have developed emotionally since season 1. And that's why this episode is so vital, it shows the development of characters into a deeper relationship. One that actually makes sense.

The animation is on point, music and voice acting too. Please please don't leave a bad review just because the series didn't end up with the relationship pair you wanted. Review this objectively. People spent years of their life developing this show.

There's a point where you actually realize that the lines were spliced and changed. You can physically hear in the episode the tones and voices change. It's something that is really obvious when you watch with headphones.
