Acting by Mammootty was very realistic and down to earth. But, the onscreen chemistry between Mammootty and his wife was grossly mismatched, due to their gaping age difference (nearly 45 years). It was uncomfortable to watch and downright embarrassing at times. The director could have cast somebody a little older in the role to make it believable. The plot though not very engaging, was decent. This movie was touted to be a "comedy entertainer" but the laughs were too few and far in between, due to lack of witty dialogues. This movie may not feature on my top "20 must watch movie list", but I would save it for a rainy day when I run out of watchable options.

This is one of the worst movies you will see! The casting, acting, script and direction is like one of those adults only B grade movies. Mammooty's wife's acting is just laughable to watch. I gave a 2.0 because the story was good. Ramesh should stick with anchoring and comedy shows. He is very good at those.

I was excited to watch based on the Youtube reviews by movie goers. Now understand how all these are just fake!

On paper it might have sounded good, but this is a purely average film, slow, strictly one time watch if u have nothing to do...even if u miss this film it's okay...so many unnecessary scenes drag the film to a bore...but the main issue here is the casting, although Mammootty did a very convincing role, i felt these kind of films don't do justice to his ability as an actor or his image as a star... actors like Jayaram or Biju Menon could have been a better choice... some of the main supporting characters too were miscast...Ramesh Pisharody is a very inexperienced director n u can see it in many scenes...just ok film i guess.

I have to admit that Ramesh Pisharody's Ganagandharvan (The God of Singing) is a far better film than other lowbrow comedy dramas that have released in Malayalam cinema in 2019, just because it has several doses of laughter-inducing slapstick and one-liners and an overall palpable story that is devoid of much logic. TN.

To be honest,this movie had a decent subject but it s executed terribly.Add to that there are some really annoying performances too.Actress Who Played Mammootty s Wife,the Advocate Were really irritating.Ramesh Pisharady s First Movie was a decent attempt,but this one really sucks.
