This is purely a fun horror film. Nothing less, nothing more! It's a lot like Trick r Treat since all the stories are from the same town but with a micro budget. The first story is really good and the rest are pretty okay. So I recommend this to anyone who has an hour and whatever minutes to kill. It also has a machete made out of discs which is worth the 2.99 alone!
The only horror involved is the horror of the acting and production quality. I would give this negative stars if I could.
The people who said this is a great horror movie movie, have to be friends of the cast and crew. This is no way near horror,. The group must have been high and said, hey let's make a horror movie. The clown wig was a cheap string mop. The big girl in the black supposedly sexy outfit that was waaay too small for her. I kept wondering why she was ebreathing so hard when hiding. It wasn't like. She had been running. All she did was go down some stairs. Now talk about the killer looking for her. I mean was he wearing a fencing mask??? Then the real hoot was his weapon some dvds glued together with jagged edges. Talk about a cheap budget, this turkey had no budget. Hope this is the only thing they made.
On its surface this film is hilariously amateurish, as if a group of friends had got together to produce a fun five-minute film and just kept going.
As soon becomes apparent, though, it's actually amateurishly hilarious, and with its zero production values, all-round oddness and, um, unsophisticated acting performances, it reminded me somewhat of a John Waters film.
8/10 for having the sheer chutzpah to get it out there, and for putting a big grin on my face - it's one of the worst films I've ever had the good fortune to see :-)

This has a little of anything from the franchise in it. Good acting and, for John Carpenter version, pretty brutal. Suspense leads up to the final showdown, with Lorie, Jamie Lee, giving a great performance! The ppl that review horror movies the last 10 yrs or so are ppl that sit at a computer and have no idea what substance they are made of, and since none of them have been in law enforcement or seen death and real horror they are pretty much clueless on how to grade these movies! Solid movie and a good 7 stars! Ok, now go back to your PC's and your fortnight ya imdn review geeks! 😄
