I've had the joy of watching Mike grow into a bona-fide director to watch, a true visionary intent to carve his own path in the world of cinema. Before I continue I will address the elephant in the room, the 2.99 fee. It's firstly not a fee, it's to help and support future projects if you believe what you've seen so far from previous projects is "worth it". If you still need to think of it as a fee, then it's safe to say its worth it.
Pecci brings this nine minute piece to a huge crescendo, utilising the time without bombarding us with information. I love the Christmas setting and sits well with the story itself, a plot point rather than a gimmick. I'm going the spoiler free route so forgive me for being curt. If you're a fan of Creepshow and other anthology based projects, give this and all Mike's stuff a watch. If you prefer longer movies, that give time for a story to breathe then donate the 2.99 and hopefully we get a full feature that will be more than a long time coming.

Dude make a full movie and I would go to a theater and watch it... I think that you can match a Japanese horror/terror movie...
You can put the same intensity and some puzzles in our heads... and if you provide 1 more short just as good as the 2 previous, I suggest then you should do a long one.
And one thing about horror movies you don't need known actors, just pop someone that you think is suitable and drop you ideas into picture, I think you can level the cream of the cream in the genre, both American and Japanese.
My sincere congratulations and I hope to see more of you in the future... best of luck.

Mike Pecci and his team really did a phenomenal job in conveying an unseen horror behind closed doors. Discovering Pecci through his other short film "12KM" I have fallen in love with the story telling and pacing of his work.
The use of warm and cool tones throughout this short film is what really caught my eye, directing the viewer's attention to what needs to be seen and highlighting what might seem as just ordinary, but really is very important. The color theory mixed with the anxiety inducing ambient music is what really drives home the unseen horror.
The actors in this were amazing!! In such a short amount of time we as the audience get to see such a wide range of emotions, especially from Maggie, who played the baby sitter- the close up shots of her face were just fantastic!
For anyone with a little bit of time who wants something very Lovecraftian, this is the short film for you.

I'm a big fan of the "unknown" in horror. The evil lurking in the shadows only to be seen by their unsuspecting victims, leaving the audience to decide for themselves just what the hell is going on. "Who's There" provides just enough of the mystery to leave you wanting more, but shows JUST enough to let the viewer know that this isn't your regular neighborhood burglar. In my opinion, one of the worst things a horror film can do is overload the audience with exposition too early. Mike Pecci has a fantastic way of providing exposition without jamming it down your throat. The "less is more" approach allows the viewer to fill in the blanks for themselves, leaving everybody with a unique experience to take away. So, what exactly was knocking at the door? We may never find out, but it damn sure has me wanting more.
LOVE the style, mood, atmosphere and everything about this one! Right up my alley! This could easily be adapted into a full length movie to explore the lore of the box and what is in it! I have only seen very few short, 10 minute or so films, but this one tops them all! It is able to do in 10 minutes what some Hollywood films can't do in an hour and a half or two. As stated before, I would LOVE to see a full length film for this one. That 10 or so minutes left me wanting more of the story. Very few short films have done this for me. Pecci knocked this one out of the park. I will definitely be looking forward to his next project!
