I just came across this wonderful film today in a short film collection I had purchased a couple of years ago. Absolutely stunning, moving, and beautifully acted. I did not know anything about this film before I watched it, but generally I am a big fan of Australian movies. This one did not disappoint. I am usually not one to cry during, or even be especially moved by, most films, but this was really an exception for me. Fortunately I have this on my hard drive, and definitely plan to watch it again.
Not sure what more I can say about this film - just watch it if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed! If I could give it more than 10 stars I would!

Such a deep and complex short film. Great acting and the plot and actors showed some real emotions that made this a real gem to watch. This could be made into a feature film honestly.. perhaps in the future? Anyway this is easily a 10. A must watch.
I do hope this film gets the recognition it deserves. I love the fact that there is a bigger, wider story to be told about the two characters James and Blake. The film opens up really well and grows into something big towards the end. I would watch this again.
This is an impressive short indie film. Goes to show you don't need a big budget to make a big impact. Leigh Smith is a talented actor and the emotions he displayed was convincing and really drew me in. That ending with the letter had me a little emotional. In all it's a deep short film, give it a go!
Strong performances by both the actors. What I really liked about the plot was that rather then just two soliders in love as you would usually see this is more of a unique love story between a solider and civilian. I felt the emotions right to the end!
