Miss Depardieu trying hard not to be Depardieu, and failing

In the first ten minutes of this first episode every kind of caricatural ideas you might want to test when thinking about a forensic pathologist are here.

vintage office in chaos - checked
pathologist sleeping in the mortuary- checked
Immediate insight of the victim identity and the perpetrator in less than two minutes from one single element - checked

The way Miss Depardieu plays the pathologist falls directly under the "Depardieu style" - all in excess. There is a major difference though, where Depardieu could instil deepness Miss Depardieu miserably fails.

She is well aided here by the writers who probably put their brains on holidays to write this.

Avoid at any cost, even when it's raining, and you are bored.
