Summary
Reviewers say 'The Family Man' is acclaimed for its compelling narrative, realistic depiction of a middle-class man's dual life, and Manoj Bajpayee's stellar performance. The series is celebrated for its humor, action, and genre balance. However, some note pacing issues, uneven development, and clichés. Its portrayal of political and social themes is both praised and critiqued. Despite these flaws, it is seen as a major contribution to Indian web series.

In the battle between Sacred Games and Mirzapur, The Family Man wins the war.
Just completed the second season as soon as it dropped on PrimeVideo and I got here to recommend you to watch it *ASAP*. All the people unsatisfied with the ending of the first season shall be satisfied in the very first episode.
With all due respect to Sacred Games and Mirzapur, both of whose first season were, in my opinion, better than first season of The Family Man, but had a slightly under-expected season 2. The Family Man, on the other hand, ups the ante and comes out a winner among Hindi thrillers in the OTT space.
Manoj Bajpayee perfectly fits into both the roles of a family man as well as an undercover agent. Bring on the action, bring on the humour, Manoj sir can do it all and how effortlessly. Watch out for. Samantha as Raji in the second season where she plays a character willing to go to any length, physically or emotionally, to reach her target.
Special shout-out to Sumeet Kotian for the crisp editing throughout the series and the directors for the brilliant show.

A near perfect indian espionage thriller
Gotta say, Raj and DK are one of the torch bearers of Indian OTT platforms. The Family Man is amongst the most popular Indian series and as of writing this review season 2 has finished.
At this point there's no need to praise Manoj Bajpayee for his skills. Just be thankful he exists and gifts us with these gems and we must protect him at all costs.
One of the best things about this series is the writing of characters. Small or lead characters, everyone is paid attention to detail and they exist for a reason. The antagonists are always very very well written which makes this more nail biting. Apart from that, background score, production design, dialogues are top notch.
VFX could be better with bigger budget and sometimes there are dues ex machina happening with either event or character which is a let down but nonetheless it's still entertaining, sometimes shocking with sprinkles of comic moments.
Lastly, The family man is a must watch show and ironically not family friendly.

Disappointed by 3rd season because of too many Ads in amazon prime
The 3rd season is full of ads like some kind of Indian tv serial from dd national. 52 min of serial with 5 ads. Ridiculous and completely bitter the experience. Although the content and acting is good with every thing else as it is. Kind of seems like trying to downgrade govt by planting a seed in other directions- even though reality is far from it. And NSA cheif don't travel with such less security in hostile territory- they use jammers to the least 😃
Season 3 WHY WHY WHY andddddddd Why???
Firstly this review is for Season 3
My rating for previous seasons: Season One - 8.5 ⭐ Season Two - 9.5 ⭐
So now, Everything was going so well till the 6th episode and why tf do you think that you need to have a cliff hanger like this!! You want audience to be excited for next part ok but you don't do this if you take 4 years to make next part as simple as that.
This series has everything and this season again shows everything which we expect, How some people get sold despite getting every benefit, whereas for few pride is still what matters the most...How people whom we trust can Backstab, how people we tend to think can never trust come out of Syllabus. How Corrupt Media and corporates make narratives which suits them, how real heroes are always and always the ones who are on everything at frontline on ground...
But this show has set the bars so high specially after Season 2 that even after so much in it, it somewhat feels underpar with respect to Last season. So yes with heavy heart 8 stars this time :(

Worth Watching!!! One of the best so far.
I believe i am the first person to complete the entire series and i am pretty sure i am in no position to go to the office right now. One thing about which i am very confident about is - Its one of the best Indian TV series so far. Amazing acting, Amazing direction, Super Amazing cinematography and what not.
It was worth watching in a single go. I was completely engaged in the storyline. I would personally recommend it. Its totally different and its very much unpredictable.
Good Job Team /\
