    Splitting a bullet?

Really? That's Z Nation stuff without it being actually funny. Ah, and an overly complicated scheme by the kids just to know what they want? They already told you.

    Fun, zombie bashing thrills.

    Fear the Walking Dead

    Episode 5.03 (4 out of 5 stars).

The episode delivers heart pounding zombie thriller. With the characters still searching for Maggie Grace's character. John and June get stuck in a small town infested with undead as they meet an unexpected return from Dwight. Who is on the search for his wife. It is fun to see the characters interact. There is lots of action. And a mysterious motive from the villains that have the undead tied up and blocking roads using the intestine. Which is disturbing and gory but hopefully foreshadowing for something more to come.

Ashley Cardiff knows how to write a good episode.

Finally they lucked on a good writer who knows how to construct a story and make it entertaining. We've still got the paid reviewers in here but they look like they might be up for unemployment if they keep Ashley on as series writer. No need for fake high score reviews when they deliver like this episode does. John Dorie center story, delivering some great throw away lines. san antonio split, only the second time he's pulled it off etc, and the western theme, an obvious winner I mentioned way back in my review from Dorie's first appearance. We love the cowboy mystique and why no writer bothered to pull this through to the screen in the last season shows how inept last seasons writers were in general. I'm going to go ahead and assume Ashley read my suggestion of focusing on this and incorporated it in her winning approach. She's not here to say she didn't so we'll leave it as fact until she challenges it personally. Great to see Dwight back again, and delivering some serious deep thought and emotional content aimed for our brains and not zombies. No one else was too annoying which has been a common problem, we don't need to have the story cluttered up with stupid and annoying parts just to fill up an episode, Ashley show's there's plenty of decent content to fill the time. Ashley mercifully didn't use the annoying trope of smart people doing stupid things to move the script along (ok Dwight jumping off the roof etc, but that's nothing compared to what we've had to put up with), and some touching well paced character moments. I see Ashley is listed as writing a large chunk of this season. eps 1-8,10, and 16. Let's hope who ever fills in the gaps doesn't blow it. I fear ep 9 and11-15, till we see who writes them.

You've got my attention, please use it wisely.

    Far Fetched Cowboy Gunslinger Action

This episode is entertaining, it's the third episode into the season and they have all been good episodes! They must have fired last season's writers and replaced them with some good ones because they have essentially pulled this show out of the chess pool that it has been drowning in ever since they killed off the main characters!

Splitting a bullet up the middle and each half of the bullet killing a zombie is ridiculously far fetched, but I don't really care if they make this show a little crazy like Z Nation! The majority of the plot has slowly moved forwards letting us know that the children are the ones behind the zombie borders and heads on spikes. Those evil kids are up to no good and are likely going to try to kill the group, but I am sure that they will screw it up and the group will somehow have to save their lives.

I rate this episode 7/10 and it's worth the watch. I didn't care much for Dwight showing up only to spill his emotional guts all over the silver screen. Now that everyone is done crying over Dwights sad tragedy of a wife story and how he is chasing her, we move on to see the entire forest has zombies chained up everywhere, but they have to deal with these pesky kids before they do anything, and it's cleark some kin$ of trap.

It was nice to see you DWIGHT

My favorite event of this episode was definitely DWIGHT to be included in the series I think even in very good places TWD was a character. I think it will stay in this series for a long time because it is a remarkable character. but the scene in the car was really bad I didn't understand how the zombies couldn't get into the car with the rear window open. The episode was not good overall but I think you would come to good places player quality started to improve.
