alright..
I personally loved this show back then, but just for the silly little cartoons, characters, and songs, but looking back at it; it's not that great. Also, (for the con part) i can't tell if this show is accurate for representing how SOME little kids act, or if kids are just naughty, unpleasant, disrespectful brats. Especially for Kongsuni, worst character. Back to the pro part; this show helps SOME kids be a better example to others, and the songs are straight up BANGERS. (I know the parents are gonna be like: "BUT KONGSU-" i already said she was the worst character, despite the fact her name is literally in the title, and she's the main character. And I know I'm supposed to hate this show, but I'll just give one chance with a small rant, review, and chance.) (i literally had no idea what I was writing while typing this review in I'm sorry if it makes literally no sense at all)
Kongsuni is a whiner
My daughter keeps asking to watch this, but the little girl whines about literally everything, throws fits and is a complete brat to her parents. My daughter is starting to talk back to me and whine like this from watching it a couple of days in a row. Not impressed that this is what is being taught.
Dealing with the REAL behaviors of children
Everyone on here that says Kongsuni is disrespectful and "a brat" apparently has never dealt with real children. This show is great in showing that many kids (my daughter included) DO throw fits, talk back or act disrespectfully sometimes. The point is that Kongsuni learns from her mistake and see why she is wrong and fixes her behavior. Wow, this sounds a lot like PARENTING. Before you bash this show because it actually has life lessons and not just counting and colors- watch a few episodes and have an informed perspective before you trash something because it might just initiate a real conversation about behavior with your children. And don't be afraid because it's Asian based and doesn't have a full line of junk toys to buy in the US. People writing these reviews are the real whiners and brats.
Utter rage inducing aggravation
This child is a whiny, disrespectful brat that is the absolute opposite a child should to watch/ learn from. She whines when she's happy, walking, playing... her parents (& friend's parents) live in an alternate universe allowing a young child(ren) to run all over town alone unsupervised, running errands waving cash in hand & handing her over to strangers they just met to take to the park. The constant whining, groaning, huffing & screaming makes me want to pull my hair out & teaches kids to throw tantrums to get their way instead of listening to adults & rules for their safety.
Great for the whole family!
Honestly, some of the reviews on here from parents complaining that their child is now starting to act like Kongsuni and complaining that all Kongsuni does is is whine. This is an animation about a 5 year old girl who is trying to navigate the world around a new baby sister, her irritation with her parents attention on Chloe. She is a kid. You must remember that this is the mind of a 5 year old. It's YOUR job to teach your child right from wrong. It's YOUR job to explain to them that this is just a tv programme and that tv programmes are exactly that. For entertainment purposes. It's NOT there to babysit your child. What are you going to do thru your child lives? Tv shows and movies are for entertainment. If your child is starting to act like a character from a show it's YOUR job to explain to your child that this is a tv show. Not real life. It's cute. It's funny. It deals with real life situations. It could teach your child a thing or 2 about heeling then to deal with their emotions better rather than bottle their emotions up. This is a 5 year old girl navigating the world. Charlie and Lola is similar. Deals with real life issues and Lola gets her frustration out in every episode. Not bratty characters. They are children! I think half of you forget that you were that age once. Less judging and relax more. Take it for what it is. A TV SHOW!
