So sick of these boring blacklister storylines that don't involve Reddington. Worst episode of the season.

The first half of this season and a lot of episodes I actually thought were really good. But not this one. Haven't even finished watching yet. I'm so sick of these boring episodes. Boring blacklister storylines. Red isn't involved. James spader is just in a few scenes scattered throughout the episode. And the rest is just so boring. I know the writers can do better. I have seen season 3. And have enjoyed a lot of this season. But this episode is exactly what I don't want the blacklist to be. Its just so boring. Only a few good scenes in the episode. I expected more from an episode so close to the end of the season.

    Sigh

Blacklist has fallen into the "Big Bad of the Week" formula of so many other mediocre shows. The deep story arcs that make Blacklist Blacklist are spread thin over so many episodes that they become lost in the weekly parade of fantastical James Bond villains. The big picture arcs and prominence of Reddington in the early seasons are what drew me into the show. Now I have to put up with the silliness of the weekly challenge to get a small advancement of the deeper story. At some point I may decide that I've had all the wheat bran I can tolerate, and the occasional blueberry just isn't worth all the chewing.

    The Blacklists Inferno

The Blacklist has been one of my favourite shows for the longest time. Yet the writers appeared to be out of creativity since the end of the Cabal plot. This season, however, is the strongest one in the show so far, with more storylines going on than in any other season, and more interesting Blacklisters too.

This episode in particular shows one of the greatest case-of-the-weeks with a morally ambiguous criminal, great acting from everyone involved, a good buildup of tension and lots of action. On top of that, the ideas of this blacklister kept me thinking for days afterwards, something no other episode has done so far. It's a story that raises an interesting question about modern day problems in a way similar to Dan Brown's Inferno. I might have rated this episode a 10 if it weren't for the already high quality of this season.

    Update Minneapolis please!

I love this show and since I visit Minneapolis all the time and follow the NFL I know that the Metrodome has been town down for years and the new stadium has been built for a few. When the city of Minneapolis in this episode is shown it still has the Metrodome. Time to update the city scapes you use for transitions..

    Whatever

This really is throwaway episode. These little cloned girls serve no purpose other than to interrupt the flow of the story. I know there can be stand alone episodes but. Of course, the technology is speculative and there is no basis for its existence. The guy who heads the whole thing is a first order nut, running around making pronouncements about how important he is. These girls are being tortured but he feels a few deaths or deformities in the name of science are OK. I see once again in the reviews that anything that speaks of global warming is dismissed as a liberal pariah. It's the usual simplistic view of uninformed people.
