The third episode in this series tackles for teamwork and interaction between all of our characters and the way they interact. That being said some of these plots don't really progress the story along in a way that will benefit the show even though it is still entertaining. The music was sometimes obnoxious but others were greatly fitted into their scenes. In this episode especially we are setting up all the conflicts for the season which I like because it doesn't provide much filler. Overall this is probably the most problematic of the first three episodes but it is still greatly entertaining and fun.
Still packed with action. Things getting intense and character relationships are developing.
Honestly, this episode is enjoyable, but notably weaker than the first two. I enjoyed some aspects of it, such as Darkblood's race to catch the culprit (a culprit we already know) and the amusing antics of Doc Seismic & the assembling of the new Guardians of the Globe. But aside from that, not much of this episode stands out to me. I don't know, the teen romance drama isn't bad, but it's not quite as attention grabbing as the other stuff, even getting to the point of being a little distracting. Overall, a decent episode with a twist ending that no doubt sets up exciting storylines going forward.
Once again Invincible delivers on the action-packed fight scenes that fans have come to expect from the series. However, the addition of a teen romance subplot detracts from the overall plot, resulting in a slightly less satisfying viewing experience for me.
The episode focuses on Mark and Amber's romance drama. While their relationships are cute and endearing, it takes up a significant amount of screen time that could have been better utilized to develop other plot points. As a result, the pacing feels uneven, and the episode's momentum is slowed down.
Despite this, "Who You Calling Ugly?" still manages to deliver some exhilarating moments. The fight scenes continue to be top-notch, with the animation and choreography remaining impressive. The voice acting also continues to be a highlight of the show, with Steven Yeun's portrayal of Mark Grayson capturing the character's vulnerability and determination perfectly.
Overall, Invincible's "Who You Calling Ugly?" is still an entertaining watch, with a 7/10 rating reflecting its shortcomings. While the teen romance subplot may not appeal to everyone, the episode still offers plenty of captivating moments for fans of the series.

Invincible is still great into it's 3rd episode. Doc Seismic/Mauler Twins/Robot assembling a new Guardians of the Globe. I loved Monster Girl's first appearance. Like how more adult this series is more than the comic with the language. I'm so excited for Friday with episode 4.
