Where I Really Come From

That scene when nolan remembered the past and memorys of his son was golden I cried oh my god this is a perfect episode 10/10.

WOW ! I couldn't get my mouth to close : gore, intensity, emotions, wonderful animation and voice acting.

Now we just have to wait for the next season I guess !

This confrontation was pretty brutal in the comics, but the show was somehow even more graphic... Everybody behind the storyboards really kicked it up to 11. There are certain things I never thought I'd see in television or movies like this that are SO HARD to watch. This was so upsetting and graphic that I almost looked away for most of it. And we haven't even gotten to the most brutal sections of Kirkman's comics yet...

I also got surprisingly emotional. This show is really bringing out everything I loved about the comics and doing some of it much better in some ways. I think they've done a great job of establishing the main characters, and even Rex got some moments to shine.

I liked all of the voice work, the animation was mostly clean and flawless, and the heart and soul of what I liked about the original source material is present. I really loved this first season. I'll gladly watch more.

If you have managed this far and curious to know if this episode can even topple 'We Need To Talk', you are in for a ride. If you are a fan of gore and blood and yet think the American ones can't go toe to toe with their Japanese counterpart, you are in for a ride. Like always, Mr. Simmons and Mr. Yeun were incredible, in fact so much that you might just as well shed a tear or two. The episode was hauntingly, mesmerising. Even after filling up on all the loose ends, the only thing that would bother one, is to wait round the year but I'm sure it will be worth it.

The truth came out and the fight that came with it was brutal. The events during the fight will stick with you as much as the ramifications to all the characters lifes afterwards. A fantastic closing episode to a great first season. There are a few inconsistent episodes leading up to episodes seven and eight, but the trip is worth it and the potential for seasons 2 and 3 is limitless.
