Based on the summary and poster, I was expecting like a goofy comic-book knock-off slice of life type of show. Instead I got a complex, well written plot with some fantastic acting! While all the actors were unknown to me, they all really brought their a-game, and everyone did a really great job. I was kept guessing until the very end, and all the plot points and pacing were well done and executed perfectly. Accompanied by a haunting score along with some cute contemporary songs, the atmosphere was perfectly balanced and suited the story line. This was made before the Memorist, but had similar themes. I like them both a lot, so if you liked that show I feel you would enjoy this one as well.
I've seen this series twice, once some time ago and just recently because it's leaving Amazon and I'd forgotten most of the plot.
This is an excellent Kromcom with good directing, plot, script and actors. Emotions range from funny to very tense, since it's about a series of grizzly murders.
Some of the scenes are blurred so they're not too nasty (for example, in one scene they blurred a bloody knife, and in another blurred three corpses). Yet paradoxically in other scenes they show decayed corpses and blood in full detail, so go figure. They did have far too much boogar-picking. I mean seriously... ick! Just not funny.
It's got one of the best plot lines I've seen for a while. Overall a well-done series. Don't go in expecting a murder mystery because that's not really what it's about. It's more about criminal psychology, which makes it all the more interesting.

True that the cast is newbie and unknown but these actors are gems and breathe life into their characters. Each character has been given a back story and a purpose which tackles is usual rife with secondary characters.
The lead actor is amazing and funny, he adds little thoughtful nuances to make his character unique. The lead actress is gorgeous and talented. Dasom is amazing for a singer-turned-actress and let's not forget about my new oppa, the brooding and mysterious KIm Kwon who at first looks so much like Lee Jong Suk but eventually you make a spot for him and him alone in your heart.
I wish more people knew about this, watched this and gave this drama the recognition it deserves. I loved that the plot doesn't let logic die to make the story.
It's really kind of sad how this show is more of the category undiscovered just because the main cast is rather unknown or an idol which is why I guess people don't expect much of this show.
But it's seriously so good!!!
The first few episodes are the typical character introductions and their backstories and even though that part is usually the least attractive one of a drama I wasn't bored. That first part is also more on the comedic side.
Which is why I was a little overwhelmed when the series took a turn and it suddenly got very dark, mysterious and also kind of psycho. But I loved it and literally couldn't stop watching! One thing though: the romance in this show isn't as prominent as you'd expect of a drama that is declared as one. Especially in the second part, it really takes a backseat. So please be aware of that fact!
I also loved the characters very much. The cast did an amazing job playing them and I truly mean that.
Downsides/minus points: 1. Although there were unexpected twists and surprises in the show, the general direction it would take and which characters could be hiding something was pretty clear from the beginning. I wish they hadn't pointed to those characters as much as they did to make it even more surprising. 2. The ending was unnecessarily stretched out. They could've concluded the show in episode 14 but nope, they went on and made basically a full episode (ep.15) about them looking for the culprits who were hiding in a place that was so obvious, they could've thought of that way earlier.
All in all, I definitely recommend this show if you like crime/mystery content with amazing and lovable characters!

Well i usually listens to MR good enough/not good enough because hes normally spot on but not this time, very good series average acting but the writing more than makes of for that, Kim Da-Som steals the show in her smaller role very good job by her not sure if she's ever got a lead role but she deserves one.
