Used to enjoy this show, but there is now far to much time given to the stupid babbling nonsense between the respective partners and daft sub plots. I think I've now had enough, this isn't a shadow of the show it used to be!
That's what Callen says at around 33min. He's right, what they are missing is decent writers! What have they been doing the past few years, hiring out of work soap opera writers to work part time to fill in gaps in the show? It's a one hour show, with about 20 minutes or commercial time cutting it down to an essentially 40 minute show. And of those 40 minutes there is about 10 to 15 of useless soap opera quality (un-quality?) babbling and boring so-called romancing. As for finally bringing Hettie back, it hasn't helped the show one bit. She is acting more like Dr. Ruth or Dr. Laura than the assistant director of a federal agency.
Wake up CBS, you are systematically killing what was once a really good show!
The only good thing about this episode is having Hetty back. The script writers have lost the plot. What they think is funny dialog is just gibberish. I am confused what audience they are looking for. This is suppose to be a serious show.
I gave it a high rating due to Heddy being back. She is the reason I watch the show. The whole time she was gone was torture. It was so great having her back. She needs to stay back and they need to write her into the show a lot!!!
I've never seen such a disjointed episode. Random babbling conversations that did nothing but fill space and make me anxious with tense forced humor. I love this show but this episode had me laughing at how horribly it was presented.
