Absolutely brilliant - sat up to 3am

I watched this film and it's brilliant. Really loved it. I had seen clips but not the whole thing and had been waiting for a moment to watch it (though not a great idea to start watching it very late as I was hooked and ended up watching it to the end in the early hours). The casting especially is great - the relationships between the actors are really believable, both in physical similarities and in how they behave with each other. Also a lovely study of Cap D'Agde and its people and beautifully shot and edited.

Worth your time

Passing Through is a revealing study on love - between partners, but also between family. It's a story of growth. A very relatable drama exploring relationships that feel truly tangible. It is a charming and elegant work with some superb performances. It's a also a gorgeous expose of life in France - as delightful visually as it is narratively.

A charming slow-burn

Saw this at a festival and fell in love with it. Took me a moment to recognise Mark Little, but suddenly it dawned on me and all kinds of Neighbours nostalgia hit in. He's really well cast here, as is everyone else. It's a gentle, family story that takes a few dark turns as long-lost relatives are reunited. And then there's the music and the cinematography, which is so evocative of the setting, which is the south of France. It's a bit of a melodrama at times. Love and heartbreak and lots of tears, but I like that. Reminded me of a Richard Linklater film. Worth checking out if you can find it on streaming.
