Tughlaq Durbar

Its the classic fable story of good vs bad, however both are VJS here. The Bad character was established as the guy with no sense of sympathy, remorse and blindly opportunistic. There are some great scenes where VJS has proved his mettle once again as an actor. However, the last part was bit cliche and feels like 80s movie climax.

One time watch , if we don't have any different options.

Tughlaq darbar is a one time watchable movie which has some elements we seen in some movies before👍songs where ok. And acting of everyone was well😍💙. But some where the story gives us a laggy feel, but still its fun to watch. The performance of vijay sethupathi was brilliant but not as much as his old movies. RAYAPAN was💥💥. All over a worthwatch political one time watchable movie 7/10❤

Seems like combining bits from different script and tried to make a story without any sequencing.

Vijay Sethupathi has perfected the art of playing an "antihero" and while most of his roles seem similar, that opens the door for the story to take the front seat, which I don't mind. His role in this movie wasn't very different from stuff I've seen from him, but the storytelling was interesting in this one.

The movie is a political satire that has everything his previous movies have had: some comedy + some regular entertainment + some songs + some action and this time, some commercial masala and some sentiments also. But along with all of that, this movie had a different way of telling a story that you might have heard various times before.

If you like a commercial movie + his acting, you'll enjoy this one. There's nothing mind blowing with the movie though. I watched it while I cooked food, and this was very entertaining for something running in the background.
