Decent Gold Rush material but centers too much around Dave Turin
I've been a huge fan of Gold Rush since season 1, and have watched every episode up until now. Where the normal Gold Rush feels less scripted than Dave Turin's Lost mine, it is still a decent watch. There are some very cringe moments in which the crew praises Dave Turin as if he is some saint, which gives me the impression that there was a set agreement at the start of the season to praise Dave at every opportunity. The exploration of other mines is interesting, but the calculations afterwards are just odd and it feels like they're just naming (big) numbers to sound interesting. Where I rate Gold rush normally a 8, I rate this show a 6.
famiy what a joke
The most unlikable bunch of guys on Tv they are always calling each other family, brothers, then at the first sign of trouble they are back stabbing each other, moaning whining accusing. Only nice guy on it was Jessie and he gone now. Come on Dozer Dave are these the best guys you could find?
Too much crying
Way too much emotional bs. The big fat dumb mechanic needs to shut up. Oh it feels so good to turn on the plant, it feels so good to wash rocks, it feels so good to have water, blah blah blah. Just shut up already loudmouth!!
This Is NOT Crap --- That Would Be An Insult To Crap.
OMG, could TV show producers seem any more desperate to milk every last ounce of footage out of a franchise that's already been beaten to death? This reeks of unmistakable phoniness, you can see the nonstop scripted (very poor) acting that tries desperately to be "reality" programming. Idiotic and vapid storyline, mind-numbingly-stupid plot twists, with poor Dave looking hither and yon for something decent to mine.
SAVE YOURSELF BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!! After about an hour of watching this dreary, oddly-draining, pointless drivel, you'll want to stab yourself in the eyes so you can't watch anymore. And then run out and deliberately try to catch the coronavirus so you can have a swift death with at least *some* dignity.

I can contribute to Dave's episode on the Nixon Fork Gold Mine
I have always enjoyed watching Gold Rush and especially Dave Turin's Lost Mine. Dave seems to be the real deal who takes responsibility for his own mistakes and stands behind his crew. I recently saw the episode where Dave visits the Nixon Fork Mine in Alaska. I was once the Chief Geologist at the Nixon Fork Mine when it was being run by Fire River Gold. If there are going to be more episodes on the Nixon Fork Mine, I would like to be involved. I think I can bring some additional reality to the program by instilling a little more "real" geology. It was sad to see the 10 stamp, Stamp Mill building collapsed. When I was working the Nixon Fork Mine, the building was mostly intact and was truly an amazing mill. Nixon Fork has intriguing geology and exceptionally rich pockets of gold. The last drillhole, I drilled contained 4 zones of narrow high-grade the richest was 4.5m of 1120grams per ton gold. I would love to contribute! Scott McKeag.
