Okay

I hate to complain , It is what it is. Too much and not enough . This is a drama series and I wish I was more connected to the characters at this point , especially because the actors are excellent. A lot has happened in two episodes except proper world building, I am have in trouble relating and feeling invested but remain curious enough to keep going . It's done well.

Good episode

While I would've liked to see a bit more from the days immediately following the event, I get why they wanted to skip a bit ahead, because there's more to the show than just "apocalypse" and "chaos." They've just barely started to bring order and try to fix things and this is how we'll see our characters grow and change and become their new selves, can't wait to see more.

Goofs
The decision to evacuate Manhattan it's made because of a catastrophic sinkhole. The comment is made that much of the land is made up of landfill. While there is a small amount of landfill around the edge of Manhattan, there is not extensive use of artificial land on the island outside of the very tip of Manhattan. Most of the island is made out of bedrock, which is part of the reason that it can support such large skyscrapers.
