Intergalactic

Pretty weak script, but the story premise is interesting and I enjoyed it well enough. With a bit more focus on sxript, this show could bloom in season 2. Not a 10 out of 10, but not a 4 as is rated either.

I must say that I would of agreed with the low score of Intergalactic if I had just watched episode one, I thought that I would stick with it and whilst it is no "Firefly" it did get better and better as it went along and I started to enjoy it more and more, I hope that they do make a second series.

So whilst this is not a classic, it is definitely very watchable(remember that this is a low budget production), I do recommend that you persevere with it.

Sky's poorly received Intergalactic is a genre rarely seen, a honest-to-Blake very British sci-fi. A space-convict caper wrapped around a political intrigue story with environmental overtones - it rarely stops for a minute, is hugely melodramatic, has more twists than a curly-wurly, some genuinely shocking moments and boasts a fairly likeable core cast of characters (including the deeply watchable Thomas Turgoose as a hapless prison guard). Is it good? Not especially, but I'm deeply glad it was made and had a serious lark watching it. Let's hope the lukewarm reaction doesn't damn us to even less Brit sci-fi going forward.

Characters get better by ep.5 - even the men are getting less whiney; 'captain' is still far too shouty and unstable: not sure she got this far in life. Witch woman, tech-girl and flyboy are good characters now; screwball and dread-girl getting better.

Well just binged watched all 8 episodes. And i don't understand the bad reviews I quite enjoyed it This is not Holywood SIFI why should it be its a British production yes it need some work ,the writing could be better Tula was a bit OTT and did kinda put me off a bit ,

but apart from some stupid pointless bits like the mad scientist and his menagerie.

The space suit bit was a bit Eh?

On the whole not as bad as people seem to think, well for me anyway Hope there is a second series.
