    My New Favorite Show!

My favorite episode of my favorite show- the full pendulum swing from weddings to death in one short, hilarious synopsis.

I'm Irish by legacy- family hails from Dunmanway, Co Cork, but American born; some of the colloquialisms are lost on me, but for the most part, it's easy enough to follow along. Sure we've got a fair amount of phrases and such things that are likely lost on other countries, but in all my life, I've never wished so hard for a line dance I could do while sitting on my backside. HOW DID THIS ESCAPE OUR PURVIEW IN AMERICA?!?!

I very much plan on playing this song at our daughters wedding just to see if anyone screams 'ROCK THE BOAT!! HAPPY EFFING DAY!!' Sure, it might be me, but it happens.

What an hilarious show that I never expected to love as much as I do- maybe it's the histrionics ( just a wee bit older than these Derry girls) maybe it's that family is the same no matter where on earth you live, maybe it's the undeniable chemistry, I don't know, but this is absolutely brilliant.

    Don't rock the boat

A bit of a wacky storyline, with the curse and the wake and the pot scones, a lot going on. But the ensuing chaos is quite hilarious. Good acting and great music.

    I laughed every single minute!

One of my favorite episodes- nonstop laughs and Shenanigans! I've never seen anyone do the "Rock the Boat" dance at a wedding and now I feel deprived.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, great episode.

    • Trivia
Clare is worried that they will get into big trouble for doing drugs. Besides being illegal she says that they can lose their kneecaps if they get caught. James seems unable to believe this. However, Clare wasn't exaggerating, during "The Troubles" in the '90's in Northern Ireland, the IRA took it upon themselves to act as the police. Drug dealers and habitual drug addicts were often punished with gun shots to their kneecaps.
