Madhavan has simply produced a great biopic that should set a marker in the movie industry. Keeping true to the story of Nambi sir, it serves as a wake-up call to Indian society and the people to truly appreciate who are their real patriots and silent sufferers, the criminal injustice of our so called Justice system and the propensity of our own to pull down people of ambition and brilliance.
SRK cameo is interspersed and interesting concept. The drama is to the point and does not linger
It was a gut wrenching story something I was aware of as a teenager in India but the scale and magnitude of its tragedy only became apparent now.
Indians should be aware that even so called friendly western countries may not be really friendly as competition heats up in globalisation.

Let's just say this is Advi Sesh's movie !
From the first frame to the last he is Major Sandeep.
The movie is balanced well in action, emotion and drama. The background score keeps you interested and on the edge. Just shy of 2 hours it portrays Major Sandeep's journey from a son, lover, husband to the ultimate warrior while asking himself and the audience what does it actually mean to be a soldier?
The 26/11 drama is well known the tragedy has no boundaries. But it is shown clinically without any melodrama, hooking the audience to what and how the action unfolds.
The rest of the cast again holds itself well. Saii Manjrekar a bit de-glam performs well and looks dignified and has an excellent chemistry with Sesh.
India was lucky to have a son like Major Sandeep ; and an artist like Sesh to portray him with such dignity is a homage well delivered !
