If this came out in the 80's when I was 12 yo, I'd probably love it a lot.
My partner talked me into watching this. After I've red a couple of bad reviews before watching it, I expected to like it at least a little bit anyway because of the promising cast at least. But it's actually really a terrible movie. The whole story is boring and uninspired, jokes are all falling flat, and even cast performance gets really bad on more than couple of occasions. I like both parody and trash horrors, but this is neither. Instead it wants to be a legit horror comedy but it fails miserably. I was really asking myself why am I really watching this, but since my partner seemingly enjoyed it a lot, I endured it through for his sake.

Brilliant characters with depth and very real (particulary Greg played by Tim Key), great ideas and rich story(ies), tons of fun, and fantastic overall atmosphere. A real joy to watch.
