It is a 6 out of 10 because it is entertainingly hilarious - i am 100 % certain it is not intended to be serious but rather a mocha light comedy - I laughed in almost every episode. No spoilers but it is chock full of cliche and non- imaginative characters with the overt pandering to certain demographics ( Dawn Gilbane a truly laughable character) But i do recommend if you have time and nothing else to watch make some popcorn and sit back and don't over think the nonsense - just let it flow.

I watched this and thought i would enjoy season 1 - gary Oldman is quite great in this character but seriously this show is not good press for MI5 or 6 or whatever - I would not waste my time on this show at all - no spoiler but it is not about espionage at all but rather a failed system that is absolutely comical - and then i got it - this show is meant to be a comedy - once i realized this - i could actually enjoyed the characters that just made me laugh out loud - so sit back and grab some pop corn if you are and Oldman fan - and you won't be wowed but you will kill some time and get a good laugh.

No spoilers - i did not read the book but this story line was ridiculous in that why the eff do they care if someone goes over the wall - one less mouth, one less defiant person etc...

i enjoyed the 1st, so so on the 2nd, but the 3rd i zipped through it was just way too dumb - but nothing better to do - eat some popcorn and do look for all the obvious errors in plot and story and character arc flaws - just sit back - and let it flow :)

repeating for content nonsense - the author has made a decent living off the books and to that end you can not say a bad thing -

would i pay money to watch or buy this - probably not but i never tell anyone how to spend their money.
