Love Craig Zobel, the look of Gotham and the vibe - just think the Vito Spattafore looking Farrel looks bad. Please let this be better in the future! Without Batman this sort of falls flat. If the storyline gets established in the next few episodes there is still hope but for now it just feels like a sopranosesc tribute in the Batman universe and that just isn't it. Is the Penguin on his own interesting enough to carry his own show? I sure hope so but maybe this will be like the Joker, just not good on his own. Imagine if the made a show out of Heaths character, no don't think so. And don't get me started on the so called Joker franchaise..
This was "Sopranosesc" and I'm all in. Build up for the coming season is tremendous and frankly who knew this show would be artistic, funny and bleak at the start?
I've heard about Euphoria since it came out and after finishing the show I was currently binging I decided to try this out. Quite a pilot! Good script, fun at places but what a serious subject matter - I was not expecting this. I'm going to continue watching but can't say I'm looking forward to it, hard to watch the violent scenes.
