Hostel hudugru bekagiddare is a well executed film right from the promotions. The length of the movie does not affect the flow of film and is well executed. The camera work is brilliant which has elevated the simple storyline into a fun film. Performance of all the characters is good and utilized well with ample space for everyone. Rishabh Shetty and Pavan Kumar cameo did not really help significantly for the elevation or up the ante of the movie and is forgettable. A good movie after the worst first half of the year 2023 needed for kannada film industry. This movie is worth the penny and can be watched by family audience.

A beautiful couple story blended with a touch of comedy, love, divine intervention packaged neatly. Puneeth's presence on screen haunts everyone and the dance performance with Prabhu Deva is one of his last on the silver screen. Krishna, Sangeetha Sringeri, Roshni Prakash, Nagabhushana, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu and sunder raj have performed well. This movie is a family entertainer with comedy enough for a family audience to spend good time and witness appu at last in a commercial movie. The music and background score is decent enough to carry the movie with few songs. What a coincidence watching the interval scene elevating appu post his death.

Awesome entertainer pulled of by good cast. Kunal and rasika acting is commendable. A gripping fun filled comedy drama and one of the best movies of 2020.
