It's utterly pathetic how desperate these guys are to capture the same feel and energy Wolf of Wall Street has. It's so obvious throughout the movie and they fall flat on their face in their attempt to do it. Not a single memorable character, line or piece of acting from this movie.
This movie is an awful amateurish copycat attempt. Everything is so forced, unoriginal, and completely forgettable.
All the acting is phoned in. Likable characters? Nonexistent. Writing? Awful.
The only thing they put attention on was Emily Blunt's outfits.
I'm so tired of these low effort unoriginal movies. Do better.

I knew as a whole this movie was never worth my time so I pulled it up just to see the action scenes. Turns out this movie is written for 7 year olds. The grown adults are all clowns, the writing is predictably stupid and every character is as immature and shallow as it gets, the CGI is awful and damn near all of it is CGI, there's 0 realism to anything that takes place in the movie and it simply goes from scene to scene artificially manufacturing one scenario after the other.
The main character asks who Superman is then in the next scene is completely shocked when someone doesn't know who Batman is.
Then he gets struck by lighting creating a massive hole through his entire body in the center of his chest, heals in 2 seconds flat. Then pretends to hobble around for ages when a single tiny bullet hits him in another scene.
What kind of nonsense is that?
This is targeted for the same audience that would watch "A Goofy Movie (1995)" and it plays out just as immaturely as that movie.
The acting is just like the movie itself, completely forgettable.

The Dark Knight is one of the Best Movies of all time. The cartoons are some of the best of all time too. A year after release I decided to give this a try. From the trailers it looked awful so I was never going to see it in theaters. 9 minutes in and I know I'm better off spending my time elsewhere. The narration and shots up to that point are already to cliche, boring and dry. I hardly ever cut off a movie even though I'm just watching at home, but this just feels like utter trash already. I can go on YouTube and find countless narrations (with scripts) more compelling than the flat dreadful nonsense he's spuing at the start of this film.
