Movies and TV shows where LGBTQ+ characters - especially queer women - were killed for no good reason just because the film industry is sexist and heteronormative and thinks LGBTQ+ people are disposable. We see ourselves in the LGBTQ+ characters that are banally murdered, and I'm done with this *beep* If a piece of media uses this plot device, I'm NOT WATCHING it. At least give the death a good reason, at least make it an important part of the plot. And stop killing the characters we empathise with. People are having to broadcast suicide hotline numbers because of this.
