I was skeptical about this one but based on the reviews I decided to give it a try. I have found that most anything rated above a 6 on IMDB is worth a watch. Not always, but most times.
This was very entertaining. I really felt the lead characters frustration with the situation as she was reaching her breaking point. She was trying everything to get the obnoxious noisy neighbor to tone it down, to no avail. I found myself wondering what she would try next.
The ending was excellent. It's a twist you won't see coming but it is delicious!
Definitely a strong 8.

I'm 4 episodes in and if things don't improve quickly I won't continue watching.
There's too much character development and not enough aliens. Case in point is episode 4 which put me to sleep.
Nothing really makes sense. The ship crashing in the city seemed strange in that there was no real emergency response team. It's the city; people should have been freaking out. Sending in a bunch of kids was silly.
Timothy Olyphant's character is interesting but that's about it so far.

Well, I'm definitely old. Aliens was released almost 40 years ago, as hard as that is to believe.
I would find it equally hard to believe that any sci-fi fan hasn't seen it but obviously that is not the case. This movie is basically a remake of Aliens; same exact plot, different characters (with the exception of Ash).
As I'm watching it I knew exactly what was going to happen!
Don't misunderstand; it's still quite entertaining. I enjoyed it immensely. I would have rated it higher had the plot been a bit more original.
