Hi Folks, I do not want to spoil anything, but give this movie a chance. But the surrounding is important. Ideally you have friends over and watch this film heavily stoned.
Then it is a great comedy not about reefers, yet for them.
I just watched this movie with my best bud and we still are laughing our tails off.
Also there is actually good acting and impressive scenery. Especially in the beginning there is beautiful footage of Hawaiian sights like Diamond Head. And if you speak German like I do, some names in the opening credits are pretty funny!
In my opinion it is a great satire with some scenes targeted on a buzzed audience.
Have fun!

But I do not get why they had to bring up the annoyingly whimsy drone pilot.
That is the only chringe path, everything else is awesome. The plots aren't hard to understand, but they aren't built for morons like in most series nowadays.
And you maybe have to check twice the Executive Producer Michael Bay is really THE Michael Bay of fame, because it is definitly not overloaded with explosions and lame gags.
Some people dislike the second season and I'm not one of them. It is different, but the continuity of the main story is great and imo spans flawless between season one and two.
I am a huge fan of all the Jack Ryan movies and Krasinski is without doubt level with Harrison Ford.
