I came across this movie seeing that Nicolas Cage has made a cameo, I decided to watch it since it was on netflix. This movie is one of the most boring "movies" I have ever watched. The characters are all goofy and unrealistic including the police and tow truck drivers. And it isn't in a good goofy kind of way but just pathetic and bothersome to watch. The storyline is predictable, the characters are dull, bad acting, bad writing, and everything along with it. The low budget makes this even worse. Keep away from this movie unless you want to come for the cameo appearances (Nicolas Cage & Charlie Sheen). Generously give it a 2/10 because of the cameos.
This is probably one of the worst films I have ever seen. First off, the story-line is predictable and not very well written and thought about. But the acting is horrendous. Channing Tatum struggles with his words and mumbles throughout the whole film. It's embarrassing just to watch how hard he struggles to act and often times pauses and says something different than what he was supposed to. The way Tatum's character and his girlfriend in the movie talk is very unbelievable and unconvincing of a real relationship. The acting is worse than a poorly-written school play. The only reason I would give it a 3 stars instead of 1/10 is because it had some adequate fighting scenes. Would not recommend any soul to watch this utter filth of a movie.
A bit more than a year ago when I found out Henry Cavill who stars in Tudors would be cast as superman as well as Nolan producing and Snyder directing, I knew this movie had a ton of potential even though most of the past superman movies weren't as good as they wanted them to be. From the first moment you sit down to watch it, the storyline and the progression of the movie pulls you further in. All of the crew and actors and actresses play their parts very well and to my surprise Amy Adams played her role as Lois Lane fantastically. A lot of critics have said this movie has had a lot of action but is having too much action in a superhero movie too much? Fantastic movie and definitely an unsurpassed superman movie and the best superhero out there.
