So, I wasn't going to write a review for this show, but after seeing a couple of really dumb low ratings on this show after people had only watched the first 3 episodes, I felt like I had to.
If you've watched The Terminal List, (which you should have, missing out on that the first season show is borderline criminal) this will have a similar feel to it. The incredibly high bar that Chris Pratt and others set before, is being held up in this show as well. This is the whole meal, the real deal, the complete package. Good actors, incredible visuals, great fight scenes, and a nice plot that slowly unravels and becomes more and more interesting and complex with each episode. There is nothing about this show that falls into the trap of Hollywood and the heavily pushed inclusive and politically correct culture that has been ruining everything we watch. It really shows that the producers cared about a quality product over everything else.
I'm very impressed with what Jack Carr and the others put together with this one, I know he's pretty meticulous with his books, and that's always shown through the writing, and in the original show. But I'm almost more impressed that they created this show without a book to go off of, really shows how much they cared about fleshing out and filling in the gaps and unveiling some of the little mysteries about Ben and Rafe.
I don't want to ruin anything about this show for other viewers, I just want to convey how impressed I am with this show as a whole. And I want others to know that this is absolutely worth your time, especially compared to so much of the generic filler garbage content that is out there now. Some of which is actually written by AI and formula's.

I want to like this movie, but holy cow, this is bad. Did an AI write this script or something?
The plot is.... borderline confusing and makes little sense. It's like someone wanted to make a Jason Bourne movie starring a female lead, but had no idea at all what they were doing. The military uniforms are, absolutely terrible, not only are their ranks are all sorts of screwed up, and no one is referred to by the rank that is on their uniforms. But every other Marine looks sloppy and has facial hair, which is absolutely absurd. The Marines who are assigned to embassy duties are not slobs, they're very well-trained and some of the best the Marine Corps has to offer. There's a very good reason they were able to get those kinds of duty posts. The depiction of them in this movie is an insult.
I love a good conspiracy/spy movie, which I guess is what this movie is supposed to be? But c'mon, if you're going to make a movie like this, you should probably know a little bit about the subject. It'd go a long ways to put in the miniscule amount of effort and hire someone to advise on the military structure.
