I'm a big fan of Basquiat and his work and I think he was an extraordinary talent, but this film was just a travesty. All over the place and with basically no discernible plot. Anyone who knows the tiniest amount about Basquiat and his life will probably hate it, I know I did.
There's nothing I can say about this masterpiece which hasn't already been said a thousand times. A masterclass in acting, writing and directing. The most believable characters of anything I've ever watched. Absolute sublime genius. If you haven't watched The Sopranos, PLEASE DO.
I think this show is better than Breaking Bad, it's an amazing drug show based on true events and with incredible acting and a great story. Highly highly recommend!
