There has been and continues to be a theme where children are made to seem older or act adult-like and it's supposed to be funny. It's not. Let them be kids. This movie could have still been funny and entertaining without making a 9-year-old character act so grown and use language and phrases that are for adults.
Kid things can be funny even from an adult perspective. This was disappointing because some of the language and words felt forced and like it was aimed more at adults and not family audiences.
The 9-year-old in this movie acted more like a teenager and that's sad. It was glorifying her so-called maturity or ability to be smart while eroding childhood creativity, sense of humor and activities.

I'm glad there is finally a story shared that shares the experience of someone who has experienced abortion personally and from a business/health care context. The acting is not great but it does speak about aspects of the abortion debate that is often ignored or not even discussed.
My son is too young in my opinion right now to watch the real Black Panther movie so this gave him a taste without all the adult content. It is a nice length with action and everything that holds my 4 year old's attention without him getting bored or distracted.
