8 stars for basically John McClain on an Astroid instead of the Nakatomi Plaza.
When an astroid the size of Texas is on a collision course with earth NASA top man Dan Truman (Billy Bob Thornton) deep sea ocean driller Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis) and his wild crew to drill 800 feet and detonate a nuclear bomb to split the astroid in pieces, all while hurtling toward Earth. Stamper's crew is given a certain time period to get their job done.
Stamper and crew work against the clock and orders to detonate on the surface rather or not Stamper meets his depth. But Harry has never "NOT" met a drill depth. On Earth-but they are not on Earth.

Sister is /was a fresh show complete with Retro storyline with a great soundtrack. It's kind of like: Rockford Files meets Bullet meets Shaft!
Josh Holloway with a Matthew McConaughey vibe going on -is Jim Ellis-a dependable getaway driver in a 70(?) Duster. Rachel Hillson plays the beautiful Nina a black FBI agent that is reluctantly given a chance in an Arizona office filled with "stale and pale" white dudes but she gets a solid lead and works it on a crime family(run by Ezra (Keith David) she partners with Alan an Native American that has been passed over. Nina turn Jim into her CI by telling g him -Jim's boss -Ezra killed Jim's brother in a car bomb. Jim is living in his brother's shoes and needs to see if Nina is right. If she is he will kill Ezra himself. Jim has a kid -9ish Luna that thinks he is her uncle and Jim brings her presents and money to his ex to raise her. Watch out for a great performance from Donal Logue as a religious corrupt decrepit Sheriff Groomes that has it out for Jim. Gail O'Grady (NYPD) has a killer role as Jim's step mom and by the way: Jim's father was in the Ezra crime family when he was younger and lost one son already and doesn't want to loose another. Each episode (8) unfolds a little more storyline and that may be why it doesn't go to second season -it is wildly complicated but if you follow it -a good show with solid acting from all and shot in 70's chromatic film that when I saw the icon for viewing I thought it was an old movie from the 1970's. Great soundtrack.

How do you replace on the most successful tv/ book detective? You don't. Bosch was a great series and Bosch Legacy was an ok series with the writing on the wall. It was sad the way they made Titus Welliver dance for the show once he was cancelled. He should have taken more of a Kevin Costner approach and burned it down behind him.
Ballard is just lame. The acting is bad and the storyline sucks. The only highlight is John Carrol Lynch. Michael Connelly is just as much to blame. Netflix has made Mickey Haller work and it would be best if they could combine both of them on one network.
Amazon...congratulations... you had a 10 turned it into a 6 and now you have a solid 1.
