This series is, unfortunately, very poorly written. At times it almost makes you want to throw a chair at the television; not literally, of course, but it shows how frustrating the experience can be.
The biggest issue is the writing itself. The story is full of gaps, and from one episode to the next it feels as though whole explanations have been skipped. Plot points don't always connect, which leaves the viewer confused and wondering what they missed.
Another problem is the way the show tries to pack in too many themes and ideas at once. Representation is important, and it's good to see diversity on screen, but here it feels unbalanced. Every new relationship shown is LGBTQ+, which comes across as forced rather than natural. It would have been stronger if there was a mix of different types of relationships to make the world feel more realistic.
The acting doesn't help either. Some performances are unconvincing, and emotional moments are brushed aside far too quickly. Characters seem to move on from major feelings without any explanation, which makes it hard to connect with them.
Overall, the series leaves you more frustrated than entertained. Instead of being drawn into the story, you're left rolling your eyes and wondering what the point of it all was.
