Every time I see this show I always smile!! Steve is so proud watching down on his family - you all are certainly enthusiastic in supporting Steve's cause & zoo. I love y'all.
I've seen all the Paranormal Movies and this one was definitely different! Not set in white suburbia but in a tiny barrio apartment with a God-fearing Abuelita who speaks only Spanish. Having lived in Mexico and also been to the same type of barrio, the setting was completely authentic, including gangs, "homes", a Curandero store, etc. Also the prerequisite little Chihuahua (who is not majorly harmed!).
Jesse, having just graduated HS, bought a video camera with his graduation money and proceeds to take us on a tour of his apartment, his building, and his neighborhood. During the tour, we are first introduced to a strange neighbor lady who is RARELY seen outside and has papered up all her windows. She happens to have the apartment directly below Jesse's room and he can hear strange noises coming through their connecting air vent. He and his best friend, Hector, drop a little Go-Pro camera down the vent to see what they can see and that is the start of their adventures.
Humorous at times, a little raunchy, a few nice jump-scares and the ending is different also. I liked it.
