Mildly amusing at times, but never funny. It was exactly thirty minutes in when I slightly chuckled for the first time. The cast was pretty good, but there was nothing to work with. There was a Priscilla Presley cameo, which was a nice little touch. The Naked Gun/Police Squad movies and TV show existed in a perfect time and place that cannot be duplicated.
I didn't see this in the theater, nor did I pay to see it on streaming. I held out longer and checked it out from my local public library.

Let's see if I have this straight ...
Somebody actually say down and wrote this. Somebody else thought it would make a good movie. Somebody bought the script. Somebody financed it. Some Director signed on. Both Emile Hirsch and Steven Dorff agreed to appear in this pile of celluloid dreck. Finally, some bonehead like me spends ninety minutes on a Tuesday afternoon watching it.
It starts out good. You hang in there to find out where it's going. You're not sure if it's a horror movie. Some humor, but you're still puzzled. About 2/3 of the way through, you consider bailing. The last ten minutes or so, things pick up. At the very least, it's somewhat original.
Apparently I need more characters ... I checked this out at my local public library, so nobody got any of my money.
