  • Is Joker 2 Really That Bad? Yes.

Joker 2, a sequel to the stand alone Joker Movie from 2019, that a lot of people say that it's a abomination that ruined what was established in the previous movie.

A sequel that many people thought was completely unnecessary and even the director himself hates it.

Do that i say ..................that they are completely right, i'm not gonna lie to you this movie sequel shouldn't even exist at all.

I didn't even watch it when it was in theaters and the fact that it was a literal musical, i mean making a sequel to a movie that really didn't need a sequel is one thing but make it into a musical? Why? Who thought that it was a good idea?

The first Joker was a dark, gritty psychological thriller that explored mental illness and societal decay Its tone and style were deeply rooted in realism, drawing comparisons to films like Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy. Shifting the sequel into the realm of a musical was a really stupid idea because how we supposed to take anything seriously? It doesn't fit a story like the Joker with his themes of Mental illness and society in general.

It doesn't even match the Tone on what was established in the previous one.

Don't even get me started on the story and the awful ending that makes no sense.

The first Joker left audiences questioning what was real and what existed only in Arthur's mind which it was a very unique thing that movie did, a deliberate ambiguity that added depth to the character. However, Joker 2 leans heavily into musical sequences and fantastical elements, which not only confuse the boundaries of reality but also trivialize the psychological depth of Arthur's character. Rather than exploring his psyche in a meaningful way, the sequel seems to exploit his instability for spectacle, undermining the nuanced portrayal of mental illness in the original.

The inclusion of Harley Quinn (Dr. Harleen Quinzel) as a central figure in Joker 2 is another contentious choice. While their toxic relationship is iconic in the broader Batman mythology, it feels out of place in this universe. The first film intentionally distanced itself from comic book tropes to focus on Arthur as a singular, tragic figure. Introducing a character like Harley was a very bad idea and also Lady Gaga was a absolute terrible, her acting was so lifeless, dull and it didn't feel like she was playing the character ruther pretending to be just a psycho bitch with no personality and has any reason to be here.

The ending of Joker 2 further exacerbates these issues by failing to provide a satisfying resolution or meaningful commentary. If the sequel's conclusion leans on the musical elements or a surreal twist, making the entire narrative feel like a self-indulgent experiment rather than a continuation of Arthur's journey. This contrasts starkly with the original's chilling and thought-provoking ending, which left audiences grappling with societal culpability and the thin line between victim and villain.

  • Kung Fu Panda 4 Good or Bad?

Well it's been a long while doing one of these.

Well the Fourth Kung Fu Panda movie finally came out after so many rumors in the early 2020's does it live up to legacy of the Dreamworks biggest franchise or not?

Before any of you going to tell me that I'm late to talk about it, Yeah yeah bite me i was busy with life okay.

    And well....

    Let start off first with.

    Good :

    1) Animation : Honestly what can i say about the animation it's fluend, energetic and beautifully detail and i will say that it got improve since the last one

    2) Voice Acting : Jack Black was Good as Po as always, Awkwafina as Zhen & Viola Davis as Chameleon did a pretty good job for their roles & Ian McShane return to voice Tai Lung and di a amazing job (even though for a very short time)

    3) Some Good Jokes : There were some funny jokes here and there.

    4) Good Fights : The fights are really good and fun, especially when Po Fight Chameleon at the end.

And that all the good ,now let have look....

    Bad :

    1) Po's Character Downgrade : Am i the only who notice that Po doesn't act like the experience warrior who is less clumsy and stupid, because at points in the movie Po was portray like how he was in the first movie, his relationship with Zhen was very bland for the most part and the hull thing that his not going to be the Dragon Warrior anymore felt force, didn't make any sense and came out of nowhere.

    2) The Chameleon Suck as a Villain : The Chameleon had a very unique gimmick of taking the powers of previous Kung Fu Masters that could turn her into a amazing Villain but that's not what we got...like at all, her motivation was really really stupid, she was a boring and bland....she was a waste.

    3) The Furious 5 are Gone : Tigress and the other 4 only appear at the end of the movie because Dreamworks couldn't pay the actors for some reason.

    4) Tai Lung was a Waste : Tai Lung appear at the the third act, get capture and then leave...no seriously that all Tai long does in the movie, he doesn't fight along with Po and he doesn't a moment with Shifu (which in the original script Tai and Shifu were going to have a Goodbye), don't even get me started other villains.

    5) Story n' Plot Holes : I mention about Po will no longer be the Dragon Warrior didn't make any sense but there was a major plot hole with The Chameleon and Zhen, if The Chameleon didn't learn Kung Fu how did Zhen learn Kung Fu and why Zhen didn't just went to Chameleon to train her instead of all of this nonsense?

    6) Comedy : The 3 rabbit children that were violent were very annoying, Po acting like a stupid child wasn't funny and Po 2 Dad shenanigans felt force and very unfunny.

Saberspark did a really good video on the movie Kung Fu Panda 4 Was Disappointing...

So overall this movie was a massive disappointment, it's Not Bad but man it could have been way better, i do not recommend to watch this movie if you looking for movie with massive depth on story and characters arcs.

  • Non Looney Tunes Fan Honest Review of the Theatrical Animated Looney Tunes Movie

Full Title : A Honest Review on The Day The Earth Blew Up : A Looney Tunes Movie, Warner Bros First Ever 2D Animated Theatrical Looney Tunes Film from an Non-Looney Tunes Fan.

Well..Warner Bros decide to not make a stupid decision for once, instead of keep their first animated theatrical release looney tunes movie shelved forever or cancelled they release their animated film on the big screen ...that's surprising if i'm gonna be totally honest here.

Okay so i watch that movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (which i will talk about that movie in a different post) and i have some thoughts on it.

Before i begin the review, some things first :

For those who don't know, I'm Not a Looney Tunes Fan, never was and never will be. I was never a fan of Looney Tunes throughout my life because the large majority of the characters are annoying and unfunny (especially the popular ones) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive and pure cringe for a large of the time, very rarely i found a short from the looney tunes library that i actually like and made laugh, a consider the looney tunes cartoons the most overrated cartoons ever that don't deserve their popularity and i hate the looney tunes and cartoon communities/fanbases that over praise these cartoons when there are tones of other cartoons that deserve it and get butthurt if someone hates and criticise looney tunes for legit reasons which this leads to them having huge bias and double standards.

So yeah, don't act surprised when i fight back to you if you gonna be a jackass to me, telling me that i have no childhood and/or no good taste in humor just because i dare to not like a popular cartoon that i found very overrated and not funny.

However Considering that this is Warner Bros First Ever Animated Looney Tunes Film on the Big Screen (very depressing and confusing that the looney tunes didn't have a animated theatrical release movie for over a century, like what Warner Bros were doing the hull time?) i'm willing to give it a chance.

I will talk about the Pros and the Cons of this movie.

Also This is a Non-Spoiler Review, so i won't spoil major events of this movie.

So...what do i think of this movie?....it's Fine....it's surely not the best from the looney tunes but definitely not the absolute worst i have seen.

Let's start off with positives, Pros.

Voice Acting : The thing that the Looney tunes are mostly consistent about is the voice acting, all the voice actors/actress were on point & the match the tone of the emotions of the characters, Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy and match the tone how crazy this character is, as a example.

Animation : What can i say, the animation was beautiful, fluent, fast and crazy, it's good to see traditional 2d animation on the big screen, When Porky and Petunia go out and fought the mind control people is where animation goes nuts.

Comedy : There are times when the movie made laugh especially when they failed at every job they get at the beginning of the movie.

    Now with the Cons.

The Rest of the Comedy : There's are sadly times when the movie made me cringe and didn't found funny, when Daffy freakout about the gums is a perfect example i know that he supposed to be unreasonable and consume with madness but it came across very cringe and unfunny to look at and i didn't found funny Petunia's running gag of taste everything to find a new flavor for the gum factory (especially the sponge scene was just stupid) that made Petunia looks very idiotic for all the wrong reasons, what's next Petunia you gonna taste literal poison to find the flavour you want?

The Sad Scenes : When the movie goes emotional is so goddamn cringe and stupid, I get what they try to do but it's get to the point that i'm waiting something or someone to stop this nonsense and point out how stupid and cringe it is, i thought i'm watching a comedy cartoon about a crazy duck and pig doing not Saving Private Ryan, Looney tunes aren't deep guys.

The Twist : I'm not gonna say what happen the only thing i can said is that was so baffling stupid and nonsensical that didn't make any sense from the story reprective.

This was my reactions to that : WTF?

So over all, it was a experience watching this movie.

I am disappointing for some the choices the filmmaker makes about the comedy and story but it could have been a lot worse.

For their first ever animated theatrical release looney tunes movie it was fine, it is surely way better than the live action looney tunes movies that's for sure but it's not a movie that i will go back and watch again.

I'm hoping the next they will make (if they even make another one) will be even better.

    Rating : 6 of 10.
