For starters, I wish people would stop comparing this to Gary Oldman's Dracula portrayal. Dracula and Nosferatu are completely two different characters. Dracula is far more powerful relying on his ability to be a handsome cunning human to attract his prey. Or turn into a creature at will. He looks to expand his army of vampires through his bite. Nosferatu is a walking infection period. He has no desire to change others into what he is. Light will kill him instantly and he has limited telekinetic powers. Where as Dracula can tolerate limited light and has VAST telekinetic powers. Nosfeartu's bite kills instantly and his sole purpose is to feed to satiate his hunger. He can command rats to spread his infection further or do his bidding. While the stories of both characters are similar they are also completely different. I think Nosferatu is FAR more intimidating and scary being the creature that he is. He cannot turn into something attractive and suave like Dracula to lure his prey. People should appreciate both portrayals for what they are. Gary Oldman nailed Dracula and nobody in my opinion has done it better since that film. And i believe Bill Skarsgard is probably one of the best character actors of our current time. He proved that in both "IT" films. And nailed this role as Nosferatu being the best i've seen yet. And i'll argue that point with anyone.
Reagan in my opinion was the last best republican president we ever had. The party today is in a shambles. They are lost and don't know right from wrong anymore. Nor do they have any morals or ethics in terms of who leads this nation. And it wouldn't surprise me if Ronnie is doing 100 million revolutions in his grave over how bad the party has become. Now as far as this movie was concerned. I thought it was done quite well. Dennis Quaid did a fantastic job portraying Ronnie. He's a stellar actor in my humble opinion. Nancy could have been done better with another actor along with some other key figures. But this was more about the story of his life and rise to our highest office. And it was told very well in it's nearly 2.5hr duration. Bottom line is it's very much worth a watch just for the history lesson alone. And how much more unified this nation was and how we believed in each other despite political differences. It truly was a great time to be an American. Can't honestly say that about today. We are on the wrong track and were going to be in SERIOUS trouble by 2028. I can just sense it.
I don't really get into the DC Comics genres. But i will say that Collin is REALLY on point with this character. I like how it's developing slowly for a change. It gives you that anticipation for the next episode. And i love anything mobster related. And this kind of has a "Soprano's" feel to it which was one of my favorite TV series. I like the kid Victor and the actor plays the part very well. He has more in common with Oz then he realizes. In many respects Penguin is probably one of the most powerful characters in the Batman franchise. And were clearly seeing him come into his own and reach those heights episode by episode. I'm really hoping this gets a second season because i saw somewhere it listed this series for 20 episodes. So that would be 8 this first season and 12 for the second if that's true. I have no doubt it won't since the ratings already are extremely high.
